Details:The primary purpose of this position is to plan, organize, develop, and direct the infection control program and in accordance with government guidelines and regulations and company policies.  This position also advises and consults with physicians, nurses, and facility personnel concerning precautions to be taken to protect patients staff, and other persons from possible contamination or infection.  Investigates infection control problems and arranges for follow-up care for persons to infection or disease.  Tasks and Duties as follows but not limited to: Ensures that the facility is in compliance with current CDC, OSHA and local regulations Develop and maintain and periodically update infection control precautions Interpret infection control policies and procudures as necessary Perform periodic testing of our prepared sterile packs, bundles and supplies Ensures that staff are implementing standard operating procedures for tasks involving exposure to blood/body fluids Assist in developing and implementing guidelines for the decontamination and sterilization activities performed in the facility All other related duties as assigned
